GV Space builds on a foundation laid by Golem Ventures, founded in 2019 by Sebastian Mach, Ondrej Tylecek and Petr Zapletal. Initially targeting blockchain applications, Golem Ventures quickly pivoted to tech startups, by becoming early investors and supporting three startups in Israel, South Africa and Germany.
Augmented Robotics
Today, we are proud to welcome Augmented Robotics to the Golem Ventures portfolio. The pre-seed round will support the team of former space engineers in bringing the world of physical toys and mobile gaming together. So far, in the entertainment sector, Augmented reality has been the right bet – with the same technology, the team works with international toy producers and truly has global ambitions. Based in Berlin, Germany, the team has already attracted funds from a Japanese entertainment group, a German investment bank and a syndicate of angel investors.

Golem Ventures is proud to announce our participation in the pre-seed round of an Israeli deep-tech startup. Neuronix AI Labs reduces the costs and power consumption of computer-vision AI by using large-scale cost-efficient cloud deployments. Focusing on providing the IP core to existing suppliers, Neuronix cooperates with the existing players in the AI ecosystem to enable further massive and sustainable adoption of Computer Vision. Deployments in IoT devices, autonomous systems and the areas of surveillance bridge the gap between GV’s and GVS’ portfolio interests. Golem Ventures is proud to back Yaron Raz from Alchemist class of ‘21, and his team on the mission of hardware-accelerated AI.

Pulse
Golem Ventures´ investment in Pulse proves it is not afraid of the consumer market. In the marathon to become the “Twitch for sports” or the leading platform for sharing and streaming high-adrenaline content, GV backs the founding team of sportsmen and serial entrepreneurs with the experience of scaling a social network to 30M users. The services are now available in beta, awaiting a monetization model for creators and hardware integration. Based in Cape Town, Pulse is expanding globally on a mission to support the creator economy and authentic sports experiences.
